Agriculture
Agriculture remains one of the most promising pathways for youth empowerment, job creation, and sustainable development in Nigeria.

Background
Agriculture remains one of the most promising pathways for youth empowerment, job creation, and sustainable development in Nigeria. Yet, many young people avoid the sector due to limited awareness, inadequate training, outdated farming perceptions, and poor access to modern agricultural technologies.
Education & Skills Development 📘✨
At The Next Youth Initiative, our Agriculture Focus is designed to reposition agriculture as a profitable, innovative, and dignified career for young people. We believe agriculture is central to solving food insecurity, unemployment, and rural poverty—and that Nigerian youth can lead the transformation through agribusiness, value chain development, agri-tech, food processing, and green economy jobs.
