Health
Building educated, innovative, and globally competitive young people equipped for 21st century success

Background
Good health is the foundation of a young person’s ability to learn, lead, and thrive. Yet, many young people across Nigeria continue to struggle with limited access to health education, mental health support, basic hygiene knowledge, and safe environments that promote overall well-being.
INYI Health
At The Next Youth Initiative, we recognize that health is more than the absence of illness—it is physical, mental, emotional, and social well-being. Young people face increasing challenges ranging from poor nutrition, substance abuse, and reproductive health issues, to anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem. Their ability to reach their full potential depends on early access to health information, supportive systems, and peer-led resources.
Our Health Focus is designed to empower young people with the knowledge, tools, and support they need to make healthy decisions, strengthen their resilience, and become ambassadors of positive health practices in their schools and communities.
